Alishia Garcia, Mezzo-Soprano, is acclaimed for her rich, expressive tone and compelling stage presence. Praised for her "elegant phrasing" and "sincere expressivity," she brings emotional depth and musical sensitivity to every performance. Recent engagements include chorus roles in Falstaff, Carmen, Rusalka, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly with Portland Opera, and featured performances with Northwest Vocal Arts in Cordillera – Range of the Americas. She has also appeared with Broadway Rose Theatre in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and in principal roles such as Meg in Little Women (Eugene Opera), Anna in Maelstrom: The Zombie Opera (Opera Bend), and Miss Pinkerton in The Old Maid and the Thief (Cascadia Concert Opera). Garcia has been a soloist in educational programs with the Eugene Symphony. Upcoming performances include Young Marie in Marie Curie Learns to Swim and soloist in Summer Splash with New Wave Opera, as well as chorus in Carmen with Opera in the Park Portland.
