Amanda Rose is a lyric Soprano originally from Philadelphia with a BM from Temple University in Vocal Performance and Opera. Her operatic career roles have included Mimi from La Boheme, Vitellia from clemenza di Tito, Nedda from i Pagliacci, Serafina from Il Campanello di Notte, Zerlina from Don Giovanni and Susanna from Le Nozze di Figaro. She has been a soloist in multiple productions of The Messiah as well as a guest soloist for the Portland Symphonic Choir, Philadelphia Orchestra and Ocean City Pops Orchestra. She has worked with local opera companies including Opera Bend and Ping & Wolf Opera. Amanda frequently sings with the Portland chapter of Opera on Tap and performs regularly at Living Room Wines as well as many private events locally. Amanda will be appearing in Portland Opera’s A La Cart community program and is very excited for her debut performance with New Wave Opera.
