Brandon Michael is a veteran stage performer, known for his burnished tenor voice, strong acting ability and stage presence. Brandon has sung the roles of Nemorino (Elixir), Fenton (Falstaff), Goro (Madam Butterfly), Spoletta (Tosca), Don Curzio (Nozze), Le Dancaire (Carmen), Gaston (Traviata) and will be making his role debut as Rodolfo (La Boheme). Brandon has sung with Opera Fairbanks, Opera Coeur D’Alene, Inland Northwest Opera, Portland Opera, Orpheus PDX, Cascadia Chamber Opera, Ping and Woof Opera and New Wave Opera.
Brandon has performed many roles in musical theater, including, Emcee (Cabaret), Sir Lancelot (Camelot), The Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Emile De Becque (South Pacific), Sky Masterson (Guys and Dolls), Marvin (Falsettos), King Triton (Little Mermaid), Curly (Oklahoma), Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors), Marius (Les Miserables). |
Brandon has many credits as a stage director and music director, including, Sweeney Todd, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, 9 to 5 the musical, Into the Woods, Wait until Dark, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Children of Eden.
Brandon pursued his BA at Western Washington University and attended acting school in New York City’s Atlantic Theater Company Acting School. Brandon is a music educator at Clackamas Community College.
