COME EARLY TO SAY HELLO!
Join us in the lobby early to say hello, secure your tickets for the raffle drawing (drawing held at the end of intermission), and to chat with the Oregon Humane Society volunteers about their work in the community!
While a portion of your ticket is already going to help OHS with their amazing work in our community, OHS volunteers will also be able to accept physical donated items at this time. In general, OHS can accept most brand new or gently used pet items, such as:
  • new and open pet food (in original packaging only)
  • leashes and collars
  • bowls
  • toys
  • clean litter boxes
For a full list of needs, please visit their Amazon Wishlist. You can bring items with you to the opera, or purchase from the wishlist directly. If you have questions about a potential donation, please reach out to [email protected].

Public Transit
For complete transit directions from your location use the trip planner at www.trimet.org.

TriMet Bus | Stops near Mago Hunt include bus lines 44 and 35.

MAX Train | There is no direct Max line to the University of Portland Campus. Max Yellow line to Rosa Parks Station and catch the bus line 44 to University of Portland Campus.

BIKE | Portland is one of the country's most bike-friendly cities! Bicycle racks are conveniently located outside almost every building on campus.

ACCESSIBILITY

ADA PARKING | Marked ADA spots are located at the far end of the parking lot from the performance space, so we recommend instead parking closer to the concert hall - these spots still have access to wheelchair-accessible paths. Parking is first-come, first-served, and can fill up quickly on weekend with sporting events, so we recommend arriving earlier if you'd like to take advantage of one of these spots.

AT THE HALL | The recital hall has a single row of seats at the back that are accessible without the use of stairs. If none of these seats remain and you require one, an usher can help relocate another patron to make room.

RESTROOMS | Restrooms in the Mago Hunt Recital hall are available on the ground floor, however, they are quite small and may not be able to accommodate all assistive mobility devices. There is a fully-accessible restroom across the sidewalk at Franz Hall, and we can provide a volunteer to act as a guide to this location as requested.
SUPERTITLES | There will be projected text for both performances. If you would like to have a better view of the projected text, we recommend arriving early so you can secure a seat closer to the screen. The shows are in English, with Pepito using a mix of English and Spanish (translations will be provided on-screen).

ASL INTERPRETATION | Thanks to a generous grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC), live ASL interpretation will be available during our Saturday evening show. There is a space to request seating in this area when you purchase your tickets - if you need to sit in this area & didn't yet let us know, just reach out to us and we'll make sure you get a seat in this section.
