Current Campaign: DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!
Don't Delay! Matching Ends May 18!

Picture
🌟 DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! 🌟 Coming to Portland this September - opera meets history as New Wave Opera presents Atoms & Artifacts, featuring two breathtaking productions that explore the lives of extraordinary women:

🔬 In Marie Curie Learns to Swim, Madame Curie and her daughter wrestle with the weight of their discoveries—and the dangers of their own research. 🔎 In Alice Tierney, archaeology students unearth fragments of a mysterious 1800s murder victim, each shaping her story through their own perspectives.
Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar you give up to $1,000 will be matched! Help us reach our goal by May 18 to bring these operas to life.

New Wave Opera is grateful to have received several grants in support of this production! However, those grants only cover about 50% of the cost of bringing these operas to life. That's where you come in.

💙Donate now and double your impact!  📅 Match ends May 18—let’s make history together! Your donation will directly support hiringthe artists who will bring this music to life: singers, instrumentalists, conductor, and stage director.

New Wave Opera is proud to present Marie Curie Learns to Swim with a chamber ensemble of six instrumentalists and a conductor, our first time working with an ensemble rather than with piano only. Jessica Rudman's colorful orchestration will bring the story to life with depth and nuance. But we can't make this happen without you. Donate today!

Support local artists making contemporary opera in your community. Make a donation today!

Your donation goes directly to artists making these operas happen: singers, instrumentalists, stage directors, composers, librettists, and technical staff. Gifts of any size are valued and welcome.

We can accept gifts via PayPal, Venmo, GiveButter, or check - or through your work place for those who offer matching donations! New Wave Opera is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and your donation is tax deductible.
